Welcome to SLT Online – Private Speech and Language Therapy from Julie Clarke

SLT Online provides private speech & language therapy services across Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Market Harborough area for children and adults who are having difficulty with communication. Julie can offer assessment, therapy and advice for the following:

Autistic spectrum disorder, dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech delay, language delay, dysphasia (stroke), cerebral palsy, learning disability, Down’s syndrome, voice problems, dysphagia (difficulty with eating and drinking), stuttering/stammering.

  • Private therapy for parents of children with speech and/or language delays or disorders
  • Adults who have had a stroke or are experiencing voice problems
  • Adults with learning difficulties who need help with feeding issues or communication
  • Schools who require baseline assessments for pupils experiencing difficulty with speaking, listening, reading, writing, spelling and social communication
  • Teachers and Support Assistants who work with children on the autistic spectrum of disorders
  • Teachers and Support Assistants who work with children experiencing difficulties with literacy, language or speech
  • Parents or Schools who require an Expert Witness for Special Educational Needs Tribunals (SENAD)

Julie has extensive experience in working with children of all ages and adults with learning disabilities and communication difficulties following.

Julie is registered/ member of the following organisations:Private consultations are availabe for speech, language and social communication assessments and therapy.

  • The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • Talk Tools (for dyspraxia and other oro motor speech difficulties)

  • Cued Articulation (used when learning speech sounds)
  • Irlen Screening (for visual perception difficulties)
